Saw 4820 earlier on yesterday out of service going through Netherton (Probably back to garage). Did 4820 possibly replace broken down 4196?

I can't help feeling that 1525 is going to be the next Merc withdrawn at Pensnett. I caught it on the 276 yesterday and, although it did sound quite good with overrevving, it was incredibly slow up hills and the engine sounded quite rough. That coupled with the fact it still has the Metrobus-style moquette, I think its days are numbered, as they seem to be withdrawing the Mercs with the Metrobus-style moquette first.

The 53/289 only really need deckers on the school board. If the 289 was on its own a good chunk of the time, B6's would be adequate (I know PE don't have them now).

The 53 I think varies by day, maybe the extra capacity is a christmas thing. It's still odd seeing a trident in places such as oldbury

The loadings on the 53 are similar to those of the X96 and 276 on Saturdays, weekdays are a bit quieter, maybe is just a seasonal thing.

That's a very good point. I remember when the 141 first moved to PE, and was ran using Mercs, they started using Enviros leading up to xmas
