It does seem a long way to send a bus just for loan...

...and as AG have 2099-2103, and if 2103 is the first to transfer, does this mean that AG will lose 5 B7RLEs? (keeping fleet numbers in sequence, and all that) And if so, what will these be replaced with at AG?

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Quite confused, even if its just a loan, surely they could have put the destinations into the bus, as we were told at WA, it only takes a couple of minutes to attach the box and download the destinations.  Its not as difficult as changing a blind.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

7021-25 from PB, displaced by the new Enviro400s?

I was thinking along those lines, but then would there would be enough single deckers left at Perry Barr to run the 28/66/66A, as these routes have to be single decker operated?

PB has 41 x Omnilinks, I can't imagine loosing up to 5 to AG would make much difference. Doesn't the 907 still see single deckers at times which would benefit for double deckers?

Question is... What will PE's extra 5 B7s be used for?
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Is this related to the X96 Mercs being debranded? ;)

I never realised Perry Barr had that many OmniLinks now!

The 28 must take around 15 of them, the 952 has 3 I think, the 66A has 2 and the 66 must have around 6 or 7. The 38 also has OmniLinks I think. That is 26/7 so they could be losing some

I won't clog up the Pensnett Thread anymore with this  :)

I don't quite understand what is going on at PE at the moment. They were given 11 Tridents for the 246, yet lately it has gone partly back to Merc/B7rle's, and the Tridents are being used on the 53. 2 boards on the 53 need to be DD, but other than that singles will manage fine. X96 & 276 some days have DDs, others it back to the Mercs,

Would have thought at this time of the year, the X96 & 276 cry out for all DD service?

So the initial reports of B7RLEs and Tridents (I think it was Karl who first posted this?) to replace Mercs at PE were spot on but the speculation that these would come from BC, and the 98 would convert to DD operation was wide of the mark.

Indeed, hopefully at the very least tyey get better buses i.e the B7RLE's. But yes, Im pretty darn sure the 53 cant compete with the X96 and 276 for DD most of the time.

Let alone the 289 which it interworks with!
