Nathan, Tony says some brand new buses are due with Black Branding, presumably from the 2013 bus order.

Presumably BC will get them, i was just wondering what route is likely to get black branding.

Sorry this is slightly off topic but doesnt deserve a thread but who is in charge of updating the Network West Midlands service changes page? Its still on August and the 1st September changes for me! Rather poor and very short notice for any changes later this month/october.

No but these new buses will release some more Tridents for PE presumably (maybe) to make the X96/276 double decker operated??

Glad to see the Z96, 276 could see doubles in the forthcoming future but why it has be Tridents ::) prefer E400 myself (:

I think I read somewhere they was going onto other PB Routes with Gemini's/ALX400's moving out :)

But i hear this move is taking place within weeks!

Can't happen until some replacement buses arrive. Buses cannot just magically appear at PE from other garages without replacements being in place. Most garages have around 10% spare over PVR. No one is sitting on a batch of decent buses doing nothing. Perhaps some nice new buses with black branding on may appear within the next 6 weeks

Tbh i did think it would be unlikley to happen just like that.

Yes Winston your right there as BC already has some new buses this year, so could well be cascades. Wonder which garage will get the new buses.

Although the black branding won't be for the 9 (It was mentioned new buses and the next route for new E400's are the Sutton Lines) the 9 will be gaining route branding as said by Simon on here.

I don't really want to go off topic (Sorry Liverpool Street but i am just explaining Nathans question)

Anyway Back to Pensnett the only way i can think of B7RLE's transferring to PE is if what was suggested on here about the 98 becoming Double Decker operated with The B7RLE's transferring to PE

So them common sense portrays to me, that if B7's are to come from BC if the 98 goes DD operated, they would replace the mercs currently in use at PE, but then does that mean that the X96 would see a new branding as its only just been branded on the mercs ?

My thought was all of the WA Tridents to PE to be replaced by Gemini from PB.
