Richie shall we tell them were losing mercs soon and gaining more tridents and b7 single deckers😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
More 41**'s???

What i'm trying to think is where these will be able to come from because surely no garage can just lose Tridents and B7RLE's.

BC can lose B7RLE's as it mentioned before that 98 may be transformed into DD allocation

Of course! Forgot about that! Thanks for the info :) But i wonder if more 41** tridents will be transferred to PE from BC?

I'd think that way as well as it is also mentioned that 45/7 due to receive new batch of facelifted E400s?  ???

And I don't imagine that the 98 will go from fairly new eclipses to clapped out 41** tridents so that will probably have e400s as well and then hopefully the 54 reg tridents on the pershore road can go onto the bristol road with branding-obviously there will have to be other tridents used as well but mostly 54 reg's would be great

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

It all makes sense now, Simon's comment when i asked for a repaint for 1645 & friends and he said there was no point in repainting buses that wouldn't be around for much longer!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

What would the purpose of inter working the 276 and 244 on a sunday daytime service gain?

The 276 currently uses 5 buses on a Sunday, and the 244 would need 2 buses to run with massive layover as the round trip on 244 is around 1 hour 10 minutes. The interworking I have suggested would require only 6 buses, therefore saving 1 bus.

The only alternative would be operating a 244E to Halesowen, but this would leave Hayley Green/Hasbury without a Sunday bus service

I'm on Nath's phone at the moment but I'll explain the running boards when I get home, as I really think my idea could work

Well the 241 has 35 minutes layover at Halesowen, couldn't you send that round Hasbury/Hayley Green on a weekday night & Sunday, and then just operate the 244E between Halesowen & Dudley?.

Don't forget there are still 26 E400's due before the year us out which will result in cascades to PE by the sounds if it.....

Can't happen until some replacement buses arrive. Buses cannot just magically appear at PE from other garages without replacements being in place. Most garages have around 10% spare over PVR. No one is sitting on a batch of decent buses doing nothing. Perhaps some nice new buses with black branding on may appear within the next 6 weeks

Why would it be for the 9 when PE staff members have suggested further Tridents & B7RLE are due

Don't think so Nathan, other routes need new buses more urgently than the 9 whose buses aren't that old really!
