ALX400s or W6xx darts?

ALX400s? As in Tridents?

Yes, they seem similar length to the B6's

Yes, if no B6 is available Trident is the second choice for the Alumwells

nitromatt1

The Tridents were having a field day today (Wed 28th), with 4195 on the 141, 4200 on the 9 (bar its last journey) and 4135 on the 140/241

4193 on 16:22 peak 9 from Stour the one that stays out all night (will be 22:50 out of Stour tonight). Meant to be 4825 but it wouldn't start

Fires at PN haven't necessarily been a recent thing... http://www.freewebs.com/twmpensnettgarage/damagedbuses.htm

Also see 502 after a crash. Clearly it pulled through to be one of the last surviving B6s at Pensnett

Had forgotten about 505 & 538.

Bus fires are becoming increasingly common,  a large number of ex London Buses Bendy buses were sold to a bus company in Malta, however the government has ordered they are taken out of traffic after 3 of them caught fire in one week.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Trident 4609

Stu, Did they sell them to another Operator in Malta? Thought they transferred over there as part of Arriva Malta's bus network?

Hi Nathan,

yes they are part of Arriva's Malta Bus Fleet.

Would Say the 246 is short of Tridents today as 4194, 4197, 4198 and One more unidentified Trident are parked at PE

Maybe a change over then as it was 4197, was parked at front so was easy to see fleet number.

Good chance of a trident on a peak 9 board would have thought!

4194 was in the bays, 4197 & 4198 were parked outside with another Trident over the very back.

Stu,

I take it 4194 is now back from refurb, I popped by yesterday night and 4135 was parked in front of the engineering bays, parallel with the engineering block. I wonder if this is the next one to go in for refurb? Has anyone seen 4135 today?

I'd say it's more likely 4135 was being worked on by the engineers, due to its recent reliability problems
