Has anybody noticed the destination displays on a couple of the PE E400s is very poor, saw 4817 & 4819 today and you could hardly see the details, yet others look fine.

There is a 'night' setting and a 'day' setting on the LEDs which a sensor is supposed to select automatically, but a few sit on the night setting during the day making them hard to read

I have seen some of AG's Presidents on the 73 like that aswell

Indeed. I think it was 5404, iirc. 

Its like the automatic screen brightness on mobile phones and satnavs when use in a motor vehicle.

2079 has been on the 276

Interesting, when i was at the garage 2079 was parked next to 1743 which was being got ready for service, wondering if they took 2079 instead.

1743 went onto the 297.

4810 has the worst LEDs at PN, 4817, 4819 and 4823's also can be difficult to read.

4193 has appeared on the 9 this evening, think it was the only Trident not on the 246 when I did the full 246 earlier. Wonder if that was the one being worked on in the garage.

Also, the 140/241 is being thrown into chaos lately; Kent Road partially or fully closing when it feels like has caused drivers to make U-turns and invent their own diversions - saw something I've never seen before earlier, a Gemini going down Mucklow Hill! On top of that, there is a 4-way control halfway between Dudley and Blackheath, another 3-way control on Shell Corner in Blackheath, and most mornings lately, a manually operated 4-way control at the Royal Oak island on the 241's route, which on its own caused a 15 minute delay the other day.

Do we know if any Mercs are due for withdrawl at PE.

Just wondered as three Mercs, have been parked at the back of the garage, two of them have nothing on there blinds. Can't see if they have ticket machines or not. Maybe nothing, but they have been parked well away from the other buses.

Off the top of my head, the buses were, 1553, 1549 & 1541

Do some PE Mercs not have Hasbury on their top blind.

Saw 1525 today going up to Hasbury from Halesowen with Halesowen on the blind.
