I think its gone out of service now ?, Just have that feeling, but good luck in finding it

It was on the 222 at Russells Hall Hospital around 15:40 towards Merry Hill

Just a Silly question here, do any of the 222 journeys cascade onto the Birmingham routes (140/120/9), probally not, its just to fill in for a broken down bus I guess I could be wrong but

I really would not think so. More than likely covering for a breakdown. but surely there must have been a double decker available somewhere

No, wouldn't have thought so Nathan, the 222 is usually worked by the branded buses 825 - 830 so doubt whether one would end up on the 9.

Thing is 824 is unbranded and probably the only thing spare except a Merc, and as Mercs are not allowed into Birmingham, they may have had to use 824.

Or 4813 has just gone out of service matt? At least it was performing better than 4609 which was struggling up hills on the 27A

Well it was definetley on the 222 90 minutes earlier so must have gone out of service at Merry Hill then ran dead to Stourbridge and took up duties on the 9

Maybe, but the 246 can get rather packed as well.
