Interesting visitor to PE Today, 4608.

Any particular reason?

Sorry been away from pc all day, it arrived around 11am, was shocked as i was just arriving from the Pensnett end and it pulled around the corner, noticable by its large Vodafone ad.

It pulled onto PE garage and just parked up, it had a ticket machine and a running card in it, so don't know what happened?

If anyone sees 555 any time next week, could they let me know where it was at what time? Because I am desperate to catch it after its fire. Thanks :)

I think he means he was talking to another PN driver

So a year or so ago they refurbished and repainted 1644 and now its scrap after being a parts doner, bit of a shame.

On matts point, do you mean you want to get 555 after 508 suffered damage or have they both gone up or do you mean you want 508? Now im home i can help you out

Nope 555 508 and 1644 all went up in flames whilst I was away

555 suffered a fire aswell.

Just to fill you in Ashley, 508 quickly re-entered service, 555 too a few days later, whereas 1644 is written off and is now just a source of spares

Just out of interest with regard to all these buses catching on fire-why do we think it is:
Random
Bit of hot weather
The Black Country's hills!
Mercs/B6s are old/unreliable/overheat
Electrical issues
Bad engineering

Just thought NatEx might want to find out so they can remedy it if it is poor engineering. Dare I say it tho-b6s have been overheating for years and it is a miracle that PE's engineers have kept them pounding up and down the black country's hills for 17 years on busy routes. Now had they bought darts.... :)

None! Because of there are not enough rest time in garage! Coventry garage has more rest time with Double Decker, Single Decker and Bendi. Pensnett garage should be like that rest time in Cov garage does what.
