Previous driver's fault  8)

AVL did radio when i was at gillott road towards merry hill, but to save passengers having to wait for the next X10 I didn't mind giving up part of my break.

PN won't loose their Y-reg Tridents until next year at the earliest

That's good news. Will Wolverhampton lose theirs or just BC?

BC may loose a portion of it's Y-reg Tridents, certainly not all. No major inroads will be made with Y-reg Trident fleet until 2017's NX orders start to arrive, whenever & whatever they may be.

They will have eventually, but it isn't going to happen this year, do the matchs. Not all Presidents have been withdrawn yet.

I'm not sure which thread, but i think someone asked if the 00:20 trips off Merry Hill are operating for the late night Christmas shopping this year? Info is included in the link below:

It will be interesting to see what the 8 platinums replace - I would have thought 41xx Tridents, especially those tatty ones repainted 7 odd years ago would be a possibility. Surely these are what people are complaining about - some were refurbished much more recently.

Regarding the overall picture with regards withdrawals it would seem likely some garages have extra vehicles to cover for refurb, exhaust trap and low emission certification - when some of those programmes finish I would have thought not only would all the Presidents go but 20+ later vehicles.

There is two years left (233 vehicles) of the ADL contract after completion of the current year's deliveries (11 buses left to appear?) - this should see off a good proportion of everything up to 4424, presumably the tattiest first!!

I went on 4200 and despite its original seat trim, they were all matching and all looked new. Maybe some seats of 4425?? Or just another example of a well looked after bus??
