That was branded and named today, should be at the garage tomorrow

Why only girls names, surely boys should get a chance!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

And there was me thinking the last 7 would escape the graffiti

In a way @Matt i have to agree, does every new decker have to be treated this way. Don't the buses have windows at the rear to allow extra light into the bus, not to be covered up?

I would have to agree ! I was on the back bottom of a Trident earlier today and the back window was covered with branding and it just kept the whole of the back area fairly dark. I find this to be quite an oversight, I like branding on main routes but when it's done right

6116 Neve.

Pity they have gone for the phonetic spelling. Niamh is far more evocative.

(With apologies to all named Neve - it's just my opinion!).

I agree about the rear window. I took two friends on 6106 on the 9 to show them the new buses and they were impressed with everything apart from that obscured rear window. I hate Contravision but that's one place it should be used.

The buses are named after NX Pensnett staff members children, it will therefore be spelt however the parents have chosen to spell their children's names

They do look very smart not plastered with branding from the rear. Just found this picture on Flickr

I just think the bottom window looks odd with all of the black masking. Would have been better smaller, with more bodywork between the rear windows
