Part of the Dudley Bus Review perhaps, if that is still happening?

Personally i think enough buses go to RHH without any more going!

I heard at a meeting last week that the Dudley Bus Review is definitely happening this year.

One rumour I have heard from a local newspaper reporter is that 1 off-peak bus per hour on 141/241 will be extended to Russells Hall from May.  That doesn't seem right to me as the round trip from Merry Hill to Russells Hall would take about 30 minutes, meaning that a 1 bus per hour extension would either make the buses out of synch or mean that a bus has to wait at Russells Hall for about half an hour.

EDIT : I have just found the following link on the web.

I don't fully know the logistical implications of this extension, but could the 141 switch to the 241 (and vice-versa) at Russells Hall Hospital?

One thing that always amazes me, is that there somehow seems to be more people signing these petitions and requesting buses than the people who actually use them!  ???

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

It will be fun to see the people who catch the 241 to Dudley thinking it's the 246

The only way I can see this being done without excessive waiting times or dead running to/from garage will be...
Journeys towards the Hospital are half-hourly service 141 but journeys departing the Hospital are half-hourly service 241 (or vice versa).

Perhaps it would now make sense to make the 241 in to a circular service.  I can expect there may well be some confusion at Russells Hall with passengers wanting to go to Dudley.

Hopefully the extension will be well used.

It does make you sick about people complaining about there bus services when 90% of them don't use the bus.

We had it with the 205 going to Wallheath!

Saw some green party candidate for part of Dudley talking on Big Centre TV this morning about public transport saying that it doesn't serve the places it should do. Once again the General Election campaign is starting at it's silly season time, with people talking about things they have no idea about!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I'm fairly sure that 4825 was on the 101 on Thursday or Friday last week.
