Which e400s are staying at pn?

I was originally expecting 4800-6 to be staying at PN, as only 22 were meant to be moving to PB. But with 4803/5 having gone to PB, that idea is kinda screwed.....

Possible? 4813 & 4822 have gone to PB thus far leaving a gap of 7

That's a gap of six. Remember there's no 4816.

4815 has gone as well hasn't it? Unless they aren't planning on keeping the fleet numbers together, I'm starting to think maybe they'll all go and we'll get some more Tridents. (unless some of those already at PB get moved back at a later stage once all the new MMCs arrive, but that's unlikely)

You need to re-check your calculations, 4814/15/17/18/19/20/21 = 7 with 4816 it's 8

I haven't seen a report of 4815 at PB, unless I've missed it?

I'm sure I read it somewhere a few days ago. Can't find the post I remember reading, maybe it was on facebook. This post quoted below seems to suggest it has though.

Looks that way then with 4815 seen on Moor St Queensway, the only other block of 7 is 4806-4812 meaning 4817 couldn't be kept at PN, unless of course the lot are now moving?

Last time I heard only 3 or 4 were staying, seems a strange number though.

Doesn't seem worth keeping that few, but as PN is getting 22 MMC's, newer DD's are obviously need for spares on the 9.

Sounds like all 29 will eventually end up at PB

I thought that with 4817 NX said that the name would remain with the bus for its lifetime, not that the bus would spend it's lifetime at Pensnett.
While it's nice for Edward to see his bus regularly, NX cannot organise it's business around sentimentality.

Edward Littlehales is from Bromsgrove anyway, so not like his local to either PN garage or its routes

I still don't see the obsession with keeping groups of fleetnumbers at the same garage. It's a number doesn't make any difference.

It is extremely useful when vehicles are being route branded. It makes it easier for the allocator to remember which buses have to go on a particular route.

It must be far harder for WB to remember the fleetnumbers of the '5' vehicles than other branded buses

I can confirm 4815 is a Perry Barr bus. Done a trip on the 7 this morning, and is now on 16s
