Every time I go past there's atleast 2 parked up

Before the summer timetable reduction on the 9, there regularly used to be 4-5 parked up between the peaks, but I was under the impression that this would reduce when the new 9 timetable came in to force in Sept

Popped down to Pensnett garage this morning at around 11am, there were still 6 x Enviro 400's parked up in the yard out of use between the peaks, one did however look as though it had only just been returned from the paintshop, I couldn't tell if it was 4817 (which may not have yet re-entered service) or another one which has been treated to a repaint / retrim?

I thought the recent 9 timetable changes were designed to reduce the number of extra peak workings required & total Pvr?, 20% of Pensnett's Enviro fleet were still parked between the peaks today, not sure if this is a typical weekday occurrence,

4817 has been in service for some time now, it's 4801 from paint shop

Thanks Richie, could see the fleet number as it was parked furthest away from the road

Over the last couple of days every Pensnett eclipse I have saw doesn't have the rear blind working and is just blank, is their an issue with rear displays on these buses.

wilmotm (Matt Wilmot)

Been a couple of weeks now, its almost like they are not coming back on when the engine is restarted or something but all WN ones I have seen over the last 3 days have been fine

Karl,

Does the position of the side fleetnames match the BC Enviros? I.e. do it look as though the 222 will receive branding?

winston

I would think its fairly safe to assume the Pensnett should be getting at least 823-830 (8 x Enviro 200s)

Ex pensnett driver

I really liked 1908 too  :(

So Walsall are now trying it out? I do hope so, still haven't been on it. Being at Walsall will help me out a lot in that area.

wonder if they will put on the branding on the 222 someone suggested like 2 little ducks but using 3 instead was a good idea

I think that would be a great idea and very catchy and if done right would be fantastic branding for the enviro20's and service 222.
