Deckers in Cannock

Cannock had H651/6/7/8 GPF 3 of which were branded for Cannock to Birmingham 156 (wish theyd re start that route!) and briefly ran the M-SDA coach seated Scania refurbed with Arriva moquette

The deckers at burton are hardly ever on 1's at least 2 of them turn up on the 2's and I can't remember the H/GPF volvos at cannock and did the M/SDA scanias last long at cannock

The 156 finished and i think the VOLVOS  moved but im sure 1 stayed for a long time after. The scania was a matter of weeks

Was it the volvos that the green bus had that used to run the 156 and 4396 was 1 of my favourite deckers

Yea think so. The East Lancs bodies were soooo ugly tho on the H-GPFs, they look like they were based on the Nottingham City Transport design from the 70s

The D/FYM deckers wernt bad buses, think there better than these S/JUA deckers

I never liked Volvo Citybuses very much compared to Metro's/Olympians, they had that whiney tired Volvo engine sound, the H-XYT/H-DVM B10Ms and the B6s have it too

3302 was 1 of the worse I travelled on and I hated the L/TKA, L/HPP and the L/YCU volvos, awful buses!!

The L-YCU & L-HPP B6s, along with the L-YVK, P-PWW & P-RWU Darts were probably the WORST buses ever to run from Cannock. Always used on the longer routes too, Oh and the K-ORH, K-SRG L-TKB Darts too. I always liked the L-BNX's though. Dunno if anyone else agrees but older J-m reg Darts were alot quieter, then N& P reg onward sounded really noisy ( just like the MPDs) !

2030, 2058 and 2061 were my favourite darts back in the day and as u said bob the L/BNX, L/CPB and N/EHA darts wernt bad either to be honest, a lot better than the modern P/PWW and P/RWU darts that ended up at cannock

M834SDA was used by Cannock for a short while in 2008 before going to Derby. Tony

Heartlands had 1 of these didn't they and did the M/SDA go to Arriva North East or were these the ones that went to Scotland?
