correct that's why B6'S were numbered 2613-2642 so as not to repeat when the two fleet's were numbered into one

But the B6's were originally numbered 2209 to 2239 in line with their registration plates, they were later renumbered in the 26** series when the Leicester and Derby operations came along.

yes but the point i was making is that 2209-2212 did not take 2609-12 so as not to duplicate and cause confusion with the B10  although they were renumbered in 36xx the same day.

3603 is back out on the road again now

Bob

A lot of people dont like these but i think theyre probably cannocks best workhorses, they dont sound tinny & underpowered like the dafs/vdls. although they are starting to break down a bit now

Ashley

Only just found this thread. I quite like the B10BLE's at Cannock, more so with much better maintenance, not sure which one it is but behind the rear nearside wheelarch the panels just flapping around freely. 3606 looks the best with the new livery. 3611 probably had a lucky escape going to Wardies. I had one on the 76 from Wolves to Stafford bac in august, it was a nice ride, fairly smooth and not as much cooling fan noise as some, reminds me of the days of the PL Wright Endurances when they were sounding untuneful

Bob

There was a thread under 'Leicester Changes' in Arriva section a while back saying that these were moving back there. As much as i think theyre not too bad Cannock have absolutely run them into the ground,i cant see Leicester wanting them theyre s****ed!

Ashley

Be abit pointless transferring sort of sheds considering Arriva have a pretty nice fleet in Leicester

Bob

Yes exactly so the Leicester Changes was probably nothin more than a daft rumour. Saying that theyve just transferred 3 sheds of S reg Darts to Leicester

arrivaaston

Only "leicester change" I can thin of in the NEAR FUTURE will be 11 e200's being swapped for 11 V/Y reg MPD's...... Could explain why 2284 has been refurbed and suprised to see S208DTO in use when sister 207 has been withdrawn.... Back to the b10's.... Don't care where they go, just get them out of Cannock.... Prefferably on the back of J Watsons wagon!!!

Bob

Dont forget poss a T reg MPD goin an all lol
