I must say that the Banga Buses website is an excellent website - it is certainly one of the best bus operators websites that i have seen - i am very impressed with it. It is easy to use and contains all the information that people will need such as timetables and contact details etc. This website even has enthusiast information about their bus fleet. Banga Buses are definetly a very good bus operator.

YN03NDK is the latest Solo here. Saw it on the 530 this morning in fleet livery.

Saw that today and wondered if it was a new addition, looked very smart though!

Funny they now have buses that Arriva used to compete with them on the 530! Ironically, they'd now be amongst the very newest vehicles in the Wednesfield fleet if they were still there!

I didn't think they would of sold them 3 solos  to banga as they still run 891 to telford competing with arriva

Presume 2550 into Wednesfield is a short term transfer? They seem quite nice though Banga's solos, especially the Nottingham ones. I'd say they ride better than V reg MPDs...

They never looked very smart/cared for when Arriva acquired Midland, but then I was really surprised when Arriva refurbished/repainted them, some of them only saw service like that for months maximum.

@Ashley 60171 @Solo1 @DiamondDart @BN - Yes Banga Buses seem to be purchasing a lot of new 8.5m Optare Solo and 9.2m Optare Solo buses recently. I presume that it is to replace their older S reg non DDA compliant Optare Solo buses.

So at the moment the Banga Buses fleet seems to currently consist of 14 vehicles which are - MX04 VNF / YN53 ELV / YN53 SVT / YN03 NDK / YF02 SKO / YT51 EBA / IIG 3753 (YJ51 XSN) / Y295 PDN / V252 JRR / V253 JRR / V258 DRB / V261 DRB / V262 DRC / V263 DRC - i hope that i have not missed out any.

Also does anyone know what has happened to - S232 EWU / S238 EWU / S239 EWU / S240 EWU / S284 AOX - have any of these buses been converted to DDA compliant or have they all been withdrawn.

Thank you.

@Solo1 - Thanks for the info. So i presume that S284 AOX has now been converted to DDA compliant so that it can continue in service. Do you know if S232 EWU / S238 EWU / S239 EWU / S240 EWU are still in service and converted to DDA compliant as well or is it just S284 AOX that has been.
