Does anyone know why Banga Buses got rid of their two MPD buses that they had - X502 WRG and X503 WRG - it seems strange as they only had them for quite a short time and they were some of the newest buses in the fleet (i believe that both of these buses have now been scrapped). Also does anyone know if KX58 GSZ (8.9m Enviro 200) has been painted in to the Banga Buses livery yet. Thank you.

@RS - Thanks for the info. When did KX58 GSZ leave Banga Buses. I suppose that means that their entire fleet is now made up of Optare Solo buses (both 8.5m and 9.2m versions).

I don't know but Hansons have currently got it from Dawson's Rentals

@countryliner the two Darts have been scrapped as they proved to be very unreliable.

Another Solo has joined the fleet but I didn't get the ID from the person who told me.

@Ashley 60171 - Thanks for the info. For some reason this batch of ex Go Ahead North East MPDs seem to be very unreliable. The ones that we have at the Big Lemon - X504 WRG / X508 WRG / X551 FBB - have been extremely unreliable (all three are regularly out of use at the same time). The ones that Xelabus currently have - X512 WRG / X514 WRG - have also been very unreliable. The one that Trustybus had - X501 WRG (VJZ 3283) - was also very unreliable so they got rid of it (it has now been scrapped as well). So i am not surprised that - X502 WRG / X503 WRG - were unreliable. It is a shame though as they are very nice vehicles. It will be interesting to see their new Optare Solo though - they have quite a few vehicles - does anyone know what Banga Buses's PVR is.

They were ok when they worked. Think the PVR is between 10 and 12.

Also, in the News dated 20 November 2015, an unannounced visit by VOSA checking six vehicles with no issues. Not something that some other small operators would have been able to announce in recent years!
