4768 today was out on the 77, i guess this is a rare working but as the gemini's look to be solely on the X51 then the leather enviro's that used to be used on certain journey may sneak on to other Walsall routes.

1848 was also out on the 6 having a break from the usual 404 run

Probably not an unusual working as such, but just saw 1-branded 4112 in Acocks Green, on an anti-clockwise 11E journey to 'Bearwood High Street'. There isn't a 'High Street' in Bearwood, I think it should read 'Bearwood Road'.  ::)

since the excels started disappearing, their place on the 11's has been cascaded by mercs and spectras. Ive seen at least 3 on there a lot of the time, and even occasionally see a b7rle on there! It isnt uncommon now to find a spectra on the 32/33 either.

1826 - made a rare apperance on 17 - So all BC ominilinks must be a BY now
1798 - another ominilink on the 957

Let's just review what you've just said, whether you're right or wrong.

You said that 1826 is at BY, which led you on to say that all BC Omnilinks must be at BY now. Fair comment, even though it's wrong.

You then go on to say that 1798 (an omnilink) was on the 957 which is a BC operated route. Your two comments contradict each other

Bearwood does have a high street as well as a small bus station. On the topic of the Outer I was in Kings Heath (Friday 4th) around 1830, 4638 then 4658 turned up with a gap in between them both showing 11E Perry Barr. If the route is run by Acocks Green, whats the point in terminating the buses miles away

Some 11E's terminate at say Perry Barr and turn back as 11E's to Acocks Green. Whether all of the short journeys do that, I don't know.

Ashley

Oh I didn't know that, thanks for the reply

A couple terminate at PB and run empty back to AG. At a guess, it may be to do with driver hours or to space buses out (i.e not have them all terminate at AG then giving pax travelling beyond AG a long wait).

Yes I know that, but it is not called 'High Street', it is just Bearwood Road.  ::)
