658 was on the 311 last night - noted in Dudley around 20:40. I assume it's unusual :p
Long live 4001!
PE Radio Operations - "1540, go ahead"
1540 driver - "The engines died, AGAIN!"

1906 was parked up in bull street (where the old 16 stop used to be) today saying it was on private charter (cc) or private hire (cc) one of the two so was either displaying the wrong destination or worked as the 907 later.

1908 had a re-furd

&1906 has been refurd was on 907 today 11/5/12

1906 was on the 'Private Charter CG' service today. This is actually the Waterlinks shuttle service which on some trips goes down Corporation Street, Some trips goes to the old 16 stop in Bull Street and some trips starts from St Martins Queensway.

If it did a 907 it must have been after it had finished the'CG' contract, look close it is CG, not CC, but it is very difficult to tell at a quick look. It would not have been when Ash saw it, as it would have gone back to Perry Barr garage first.

Waht does this mean Nathan? "1908 had a re-furd"

Yeah i was walking quickly towards snow hill for the metro and i wondered why 1906 was there and just quickly looked at destination blind at the front because i think it was blank on the side and at the back

Ash

4721 was on the 952 which i think is rare as it mostly the leather omnilinks

Back in 2010, there was a Scania Onmilink, 1941 brand new, which turned up on the old S2 at 07:40. Great trip that was!

Quite a rare working. It's very common to see Eclipse2's on the 1 in the morning peaks though, as it was with B10Ls.

Seen 1932 myself at around 16:20 in Acocks Green.

Spectra 4006 was on the 126 this afternoon.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, but do Spectras pass Birmingham's emissions "test"?

wilmotm (Matt Wilmot)

Nope, to put it simply it's buses with a Y reg plate or newer so Spectra's won't be allowed on the 126 come the Summer as they are R, S and T plates. However I don't think this should cause WN too many problems as like you say by putting your post in the Unusual Working Section Spectra's don't often feature on the 126, WN's only Birmingham route and whenever I see them they are usually working the 126E which avoids Birmingham just completing the Dudley to Wolverhampton route.
