OK, at the time I posted that, I may have been mixed up with the 10.

Looks like it will be going back to Harborne, so use of the number 25 is now justified.  ;)

Thanks, 25 fits in with other Harborne services like 24 and 27 now.

The 25 will be operating a anti-clockwise loop of the Uni and Hospital. So it'll go from Harborne Rd, onto Somerset Drive, then onto Vincent Drive, coming back out from the hospital via Midlesohn Way and Metchley Lane.

That would be a clockwise loop, anti-clockwise would be Metchley Lane in and Somerset Road out.

MasterPlan

Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

Yes.
How would you implement a 26? Run it from Birmingham to Northfield via Harborne on the current 27 route and just curtail the 27 to Northfield?

Seems like the solution would be to just rename the 27 to 26 and it will solve all the problems!

Got to keep those numbers consistent, after all...

(Yes, I'm being facetious)

Ideally yes.

Or curtail the 27 to Weoley Castle and have it serve Black Haynes Road etc instead of Shenley Lane, where the 48 used to go.

Ok. Second question. From Birmingham to Harborne, would you run it via Five Ways and Ladywood then serve the Q.E onto Weoley Castle and Northfield or would you run it alongside the 23/24 and just replace the 27 between Harborne and Northfield?
