Apologies for being slow. But what are the new E200s route allocation at WA & WN?

Thanks. Tbh, I wouldn't have had the 301 upgraded from this list. Doesn't the service suffice from the B7RLEs, Scanias & the odd trident? Or is it to replace the trident allocation? (Sorry for going on a bit ::) )

If it weren't for one the Alumwell boards going on to the 301, then it probably wouldn't be included, not sure which board though

335/01 is the board that does 301's until late

I assume at Walsall, they'll replace B6's, so whatever routes those are on, probably 301(one B6 comes off 335 & goes onto 301's), 335/336, & maybe 34/38/39, & at Wton, they're assigned as primary allocation for the 28 & 81, with others appearing on the 2, 25A/C, 59 & 82

At W'ton they are for the 28 and 81 but have been making appearances on the 59 too (Usually the same running board).

244 is on 34/8/9 again
also for anyone interested in plastic 856 is on its new route, the 335. Bye Bye Walsall B6s...

Bob

Are the e200s really that bad? Least theyre better looking than streetlites which have got to be one of the ugliest things ever

lynx1103

856 has been swaped with 582 from 70A

So 582 will be on 301:302 all night

Dutsey

Maybe I am in the minority but I quite like the look of the E200s.

one of the newest buses has to be swapped with one of the oldest, just hope somehow 582 survives a while longer. transfer to WN perhaps.

It's a shame that WA didn't repair 581, was agreat PE machine.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Sorry Bob I didn't mean to give that impression, I too prefer them to the streetlite and I think the ones we have are the best new things we could hope for as B6 Replacements, mainly because they are voith, and I think the bodywork looks nice too (apart from the window spec). The only reason I call them plastic is because lets face it that is all they are!

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who likes the E200s. The Streetlites are so ugly, such a contrast in aesthetics to its bigger brother, the Wright Eclipse Urban 2
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

I caught 855 on its first venture out of garage on Tuesday, had body rattles a new bus shouldn't have! I drove it around the garage, first time I had actually driven one and the general driving seemed quite nice, but those rattles!

Bob

Theyre a fair bit quieter than a streetlite as well tony. Theyre quieter than a pulsar as well I think.

Liberator9

That is useless if the body is already rattling - I really think NX should have gone Wrights, at least for the single deck fleet.

2900

Every 64 plate enviro 200 I,ve travelled on staff bus does rattle from the front saloon door area, some even have annoying vibrations and rattles from the back seat. Some of the short version going the same way, very disappointing to say the least.
