I'm actually glad we are keeping 1750 - 1773, I do hope they will stay at Walsall.

Those buses I really miss when they were at AG. I used to love travelling on them back when I was around 12-13 years old!

I reckon I'll miss the Scanias too eventually. Not the Eclipse2's though. Really dreary and boring, only had it once in service.

Here is a better photo of 1779. Note it is still not finished yet. They are only outside the paintshop so a contractor can visit Walsall today and make all the inside 'Dundee'

Refurb?

Anyway, it looks nicer in real life. I noticed that 'stroke' is green, as opposed to gold, and I know they're dropping the NX title from the logo, but it leads me to think, wouldn't Coventry's buses have looked nicer, had it's yellow stroke been a darker shade of blue? If anyone gets what I mean?

Wouldn't Coventry buses have been nicer in red and cream. With Wasps taking over at the Ricoh arena perhaps yellow and black would be more appropriate in a modern context!

It is green because that was the design brief given to the students

@JIM C All those buses aren't all in the paintshop at the same time, Tony has previously said capacity is 17 buses at anyone time going through refurbishment, the latest list shows 19. Of those 2-3 will be a Trailways a sub contractor that re-panels buses for NXWM, one is normally at West Bromwich garage being re-paneled, whilst there are circa 3 refurbishment bays within the main Walsall garage as well and another 2-3 being re-paneled within the main paintshop
