What's the average turnover for buses to be painted/repainted and refurbished where required and put back at their garage please. This may have already been mentioned somewhere I apologise if it has been. Be nice to see all the E400's in the new NXWM livery and NXC livery too those that will be in either livery.

It varies between vehicles, some Scanias & Geminis have been turned around in a little over a week, some Tridents have taken up to 5 weeks

Does the paintshop close for a holiday or is it an all year round shop?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Has 4367 (I think it was) been repainted into the existing colours? It looked very bright when it passed me today. Selly Oak I think I saw it, running dead. Thought they weren't gonna bother doing anymore Tridents.

Yeah, was on the BR today, I think. I definitely saw it. The fleet numbers haven't been applied properly though

OK Tony thanks for the info as I was curious as to how long it took to refurb & paint any DD or SD especially with your quote you put up yesterday on how quick Walsall have turned around those 4 E400's

The Hybrids aren't probably at the top of the priority list for refurbs - they're in very good condition. There's still a fair number of 2007/09 E400s to finish off - then I'd like to see the WA/YW/AG (well not AG for long!) Scanias done - paintwork on most has faded and seat trims need replacing. YW's Scanias could easily be done considering they only run the 27, 6 and 84. If refurbed means YW got a good few routes as Crimson. Personally I'd put the Hybrids into Crimson just to ensure the fleet does move towards one livery.

They need to concentrate on keeping the hybrids on the road before repainting them (Well the E400H's at WN at least). There seems to be a few off the road and has been that way for some weeks.
