Are the repaints in the new maroon livery or the red and white.

Standard Red/White livery. The maroon livery is for new deliveries

I thought it would be the new livery to go with the new buses coming into service.  Rather than red and white

It seems not. I think NX are following a policy of new livery buses for the upgraded routes - with other routes having the refurbished NX red and white buses. Makes sense as it clear when a route has been upgrade, although I would still refurbish certain existing buses in the new livery for certain routes - E.g I'd refurbish the Scanias for the 37 and 6 in the new livery or Platinum to improve the passenger experience, whilst saving on the cost of new buses.

Hopefully they will or there could still be vehicles on the road in red and white in12/15 years time!

I don't think there would be any point since they have reached old age. But I wont be surprised if 4177 will stay longer after these ALX400's have been withdrawn.

4521 is on WB 87 and looks the business, I think the seats have been re-done as well!
