Slower? It flies past them, trust me! It's not as fast as the other Citybus but much much faster than the Metros. My bus route includes a massive hill and many times 658 has cruised past Metros (dual carriageway not crazy drivers!). Metros on the other hand struggle to overtake cyclists up that hill.

I passed 113 (NK51 UCX) going through Oldswinford today, it was heading out of Birmingham, with nothing on the front but 64 on the rear display, I guess the driver forgot to turn it off although I don't know what he was doing there at about 4:20pm, obviously couldn't be heading back to the depot, maybe they're extending the 64 a lot further haha..

..but more importantly...it's been painted, at last! I was beginning to wonder whether they were actually going to give 112 & 113 TGB livery at all. Don't know whether 112 has been painted too as I haven't seen it in ages and their fleet details haven't been updated on their website but it most likely has :)

Not that cheap, cost £6 to get to Redditch and back. An off-peak return on the train Birmingham to Redditch is £5.

Its cheaper than first though isnt it? Just wondering whether ppl think itll b a success what with there already being three routes from redditch to brum-will there be sufficient passenger numbers? I would bet that there wont be!!

The Dart Green bus had on the 50A today, W438CRN has previous has previous West Midlands history! It visited Walsall for a repaint when Travel London acquired it in 2006.  A photo today, and in 2006 are here

Currently on 64 from birmingham to rubery on one of their tridents with the staircase bang in the middle and it is full to capacity, good load at brum and plenty at QE, .think the route is here to stay :)
