Just seen 4281 on the 16 looking very shiny, first day out maybe after repaint?

Yes it is, no replacement gone to Walsall from PB yet, just for contrast with 4281, both old liveried PB buses 4241 & 4246 are also on the 16!

Dutsey

BX02 AUC seen in Sutton Coldfield working the route 6.

That news would normally have made me happy as that would have made PE totally new livery, but now we have 1668 it's not. However as they are not changing it's blinds, one can only expect that 1668 doesn't have long left! (PLEASE)
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Don't forget Stu that Pensnett have had a fair few buses off with RTA damage and 4194 & 4804 have been in the deadbox for a while. Pensnett have since received 4191 and no doubt 4192 will follow. I expect 1668 is temporary only given it's neither refurbished or repainted.

Think 4194 is becoming another 4135, sounded dreadful awhile ago when i saw it in Dudley and was blowing black smoke, several days it was ok, but now its in the deadbox again, wonder if it needs a new engine. Certainly being in the deadbox awhile, it's certainly awaiting something.

4416 - was the last CV Volvo B7TL/ALX400 in the old livery.

I'd like to see something repainted in TWM livery and at the same time other vehicles should be repainted in heritage liveries - not just the old municipal fleets but WMPTE livery and earlier WM Travel - this would emphasise the continuity of local bus operation.

Liberator9

Interestingly 4342, which has been refurbished, still has the exact same graffiti mark on the lower side panel by the first row left seat on the upper deck, which was there before the refurbishment. I thought refurbishments were meant to actually remove graffiti, not leave it there!

Ronnoc

They have never put the 2005-2007 toothpaste livery on the ALX400's, they should actually do that to one of them.

Why? I can see the point of heritage liveries, but there are still two buses in service in that livery anyway

4246 now in Walsall paintshop, looks like PB will be the next garage finished, 4241 should go in when 4271 is finished
