R.I.P 1682 :( you knew I'd say that though

Ronnoc

What's the progress on 4613? Any photos of it currently?

Eric Shaw

I saw 3614 on the 41 in West Bromwich yesterday morning. Must have been it's last day.

I set out to track down 1672 yesterday, the only one still in original livery and got it on the 82. Very impressed with it, powerful, smooth running and virtually rattle free. It probably only has a matter of days left in service though :'(

wilmotm (Matt Wilmot)

Yep, 1672 is fantastic, a real shame it was never refurbished/painted, but for its age its incredible considering its never been touched since the day it was bought, doubt any of the current deliveries will last that long

Thought all PE buses are repainted. Has it gained 4353 from another garage?

No 4353 is a PE and has been for a while.

It suffered accident damage and was sent to Carlyle for repair, Tony thought it would be refurbished at the same time, but it has come back to PE in TWM livery. Hence why it has been re-added on to the to do list

1548 still active today in Coventry in spite of all the new E400s.

Just an idea but could some of Coventrys Mercs be clinging on so that refurbs of the ALX's can be fully completed without being short of vehicles, just an idea though
