4127 now repainted.

4780 from Perry Barr was in one of the sheds at Walsall this morning by the paintshop. I don't know which shutter is the paintshop, but it was poking out of one of them!

1805 is also been refurbished at the minute
i didn't even realise 4127 was in for repaint
I'm pretty sure Tony reported it. I have it logged as in refurb

I'm sure it was as well. It has been parked up all day today in the same place with VOR stickers on it, so it should be out later this week

Trident 4609

Thanks for that John and Winston :) Must have missed out reading that post :)

About time 4351 was done!

I was right about 4780 been in as I saw it in one of the sheds the other day. Will look nice when done  :)

I wouldn't be so sure, careless spraying of all its silver at the front and the rear lights no doubt

Undoubtedly.  Utterly unsympathetic 'livery' treatment of all the manufacturers' styling cues and signature features.  And I include all the builders in that - ADL, Wright, Scania, MB, Optare, Plaxton...
Don't you start.

4129, 4293, 4314 all being done

I've noticed that 4234 no longer has a rear grill after it's refurb, the rear now looks identical to Coventry's ALX B7 examples, 4414-4424

Would have thought 4199 would have gone before 4351?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Is the rear window still rounded?

Shame most of our buses have lost their original badges fitted at manufacturing.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Glad to see 4314 getting a refurb at last

John

4310 may still be a while yet, parked in West Broms workshop, many panels still not replaced.

I only noticed it was a Trident with the rectangle back window, and the HDJ in the numberplate

Yes it is still rounded. What is that grille for? As it must not be needed if it was not replaced on repair, and the Coventry ones don't have them at all
