They should have done something to 121's engine though! It might have had an extensive refurb but its so slow its banned from Hagley Hill! ;)

Correct, shows you listen to what I tell you ;) 121 has fuel pump problems (similar to 109 but worse) and wouldn't be able to make it up the Hagley Hill, it was put on service HC1 once and never again. It is allocated almost daily to service SP1 which is less challenging.

NXWM really don't know how to refurb a bus though do they ;D

The dictionary definition of refurbish is "To make clean, bright, or fresh again; renovate.", now they may do this to the outside, they definitely don't do it to the inside.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Maybe they do go through full refurbs, it could be things we dont' notice or look for without being told. I think were all curious as to what happens to each goes that undergoes a refurb but in the greatest kindness i think people such as tony have important things to do with their days than checking up on every last progressive detail on every vehicle

Very true, maybe we shall find out more if the depot visit goes ahead.

Those who visit Walsall next month will see quite how much is removed from a bus on refurb

By the way sorry if that sounded like a rant

The paintshop missed putting its rear fleetnumber on. Noted that today.

Lynx 1103,

Has 1896 had a full repaint? Any idea if the seats have been re-trimmed?

Ashley 4566

Walsalls Tridents or the majority have just had the seats re trimmed in old style noquette however the paintjobs on one or two are peeling. As for the omnilinks, theyve gone pink and the seat trim looks like crap but its abit early to start on them isnt it even if it is sort of a good idea
