Being allergic to (new) Scania products, has any OmniCities been done? And what was the idea of the missing red on the OmniCity toothpaste livery? ( The part above the doors and cab window? )

and I agree Mike K; wholeheartedly.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Being on 4001 earlier got me thinking, as 4007 has been withdrawn, maybe they should swap the seats over, as 4001's are in a right state! Although I don't know what state 4007 was in, all the other Spectra's I've been on recently were fine except for faded fabric. I suppose NX would consider that far too much work! Then I suppose there's 4002!

Looks strange seeing it in new livery, great repaint though. I can't wait until a 57 reg is repainted, just to see what it looks like

Minor point but one that really bugs me is how the destination surrounds are done in body colour rather than black on these repaints. I know they were white to begin with on the toothpaste Enviros but still. And don't get me started on 2142 and 4709...

I used to use that to tell the leather ones from a distance. If they're going to repaint all the toothpaste ones like that it won't be as easy to tell.

Yeah, I would love to just give a day, freely of my own time, maybe on a Saturday to just spend time cleaning 4001 up myself as no one employed by NXWM seems bothered, all it needs is a good clean down, get some matching (ish) paint to cover over all the graffiti on the backs of seats, etc..., with just a bit of attention it could look so much better

Are 4001 and 4002 still in WMT spec moquette? Or where they ever recovered in the light blue TWM spec?

refurb? The usual, a retrim for the seats?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

NXWM don't do refurbs. What TGB have done to 121, that qualifies as a refurb ;)
