Am I the only one that wishes they'd put that tiny little bit more effort in when re-painting the Omnilinks and actually left the silver trim at the front silver rather than just plaster the entire thing with red paint?

I agree they look cheap and nasty

Yes, just look how good 1833 looks

Looking at the older photos of 1833, did they just not finish off the Toothpaste with the silver stripes or what the blue supposed to not have them? I've always wondered that it looks unprofessional. I know it doesn't matter now but..

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

A lot of Perry Barr OmniLinks did not have the grey stripes applied. I think this was because they were meant to gain 16 branding, but apart from 1823 and 1825, never did, and many of them were put on other routes

1821, 1822, 1824, 1826-1831, 1834-1839 are still like this. 1833 was also like that when it was in TWM livery

Ahh, I see. Makes sense. But it seems other companies would at least finish the job rather then just leaving it. Thats why I have the opinion of NX is very lazy in regards to that. Anything to save money methinks.

The Real 4778

Yes, comparing 1833 with 1877 the former is far more sensibly executed.  On 1877 even the silver detail around the headlights has turned red.

Now the lights really do look like p*ss-holes in the snow.
Don't you start.

HAHA!!

Where did that come from?! But yes, the head light size leaves alot to be desired.

Haha.. p*ss holes in the snow!!

Was the OmniLink logo on 1833 masked over prior to painting or was it a new one stuck on.

Also can be said for repainted Tridents with door rubber being painted red and it gets cracked under use.

8 left.

4491, 4495, 4496, 4498, 4499, 4500, 4502 and 4515

It seems like Perry Barr are sending them in number order, so with 4490 back, you might find that 4491 has now gone for a refurb

Thanks Winston. Have not been keeping track of those  :)

Another thing I have lost track off are the recent Wolverhampton Trident repaints. Can anyone enlighten me (Matt, Nathan), to the recent Trident repaints there.
