It was definitely out in the daytime. Had a text from a friend that 4542 was a repaint / refurb at 15.30.

Is that the one that was decapitated?

Was a new roof made do we know or a donor one found, because I can't think of a NXWM ALX 400 that it could have come from as none have been withdrawn for years

Yes it was 4234.

It was/is at Carlyle in West Brom getting repaired.  This was a few months ago now, so it might be done or nearly repaired.

None have been withdrawn apart from 4336 and there was absolutely nothing left of that one!

I was on a WN trident on the 126 yesterday, and all the grab poles had been repainted red. Made it look much better
