Have I missed something, which depot are 4914 to 4939 going to and for which route(s)?

I think most of are for PB for Sutton Line Routes but I'm not 100% sure on that :)

Which should mean more Tridents to PE... for the 53 and 120... (I can dream  ::))... They'll probably go on the 276/X96
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Well thats the current Plan Rob (Although as you know the plans can change). Am i right that the next deliveries due in the next few weeks

From rumours and guesswork on the forum i am under the impression that 4914-39 are for PB with the 07/57 plates to BC for the Pershore Rd with Tridents and B7RLE's to PE?

Tony has said about 3 weeks Nathan.

I think the rumours are quite likely to happen, but nothing is definite, things can sometimes change the day before the move.

I heard a rumour ages ago that WA would get some new single deckers next year, to displace the Volvo B7RLEs to PE to get rid of their Mercs. Great news if it were to happen, but think the chances of that are 0%
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

If the speculation re the vehicle movements is correct I'm still unclear as to which BC route(s) the B7RLEs will be taken from. As yet the 98 is still unsuitable for double deck operation (despite VIP apparently using a double decker on the 99 recently).

That's an interesting thought Stu, it is not likely but not impossible, would be interesting having the two types of B7RLE at PN

The new buses are starting to arrive, NX posted on Twitter: "One of 26 new buses being prepared for arrival on the @nxwestmidlands network. Coming soon to route??? #secret".

Not too much of a secret, the branding says "Sutton Coldfield"

That was the first thing I noticed on the picture!

I was in Ian Allan bookshop in Birmingham earlier, and they have a new NXWM fleetlist booklet dated November 2013 and correct to the end of October.  According to this booklet 4940-4979 will be the next to be delivered and will be Enviro 400's.

I wonder if they are due around Feb 2014 to coincide with the South B'ham review and some could potentially upgrade the Pershore Road routes as suggested previously

There must be a batch of E200's also on order with WA garage confirming they were bidding for a batch of 25

Could be for West Bromwich if they are due some investment next year. 30 would be enough for the Dudley Road with 6 spares

Wonder what will happen to Double decker fleet numbers when they reach 4999, will they carry on into the 5000 series 9although this may be awkward as the Hybrids are already numbered in the 5000s) or will they jump to another series?

WB were only due £3 million worth of investment, that wont cover 30 new double deckers. I suspect WB will receive more E200's to see off the last B6LE

Interesting question. Maybe they'll use the 3*** series. Only buses that are currently occupying the 3*** series, are the darts! but you would think they would be long gone by the time all of 4*** fleet numbers have been used up. Or they could start back at 4001, withdrawing Spectras, Presidents and early Tridents respectively

I don't think they're would be enough of a time lapse for them to reuse 4000-> just yet.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I would imagine the reason the hybrids are 54xx is to allow the 49xx to carry on up, otherwise the hybrids would have started 5001
