Wonder what will happen to Double decker fleet numbers when they reach 4999, will they carry on into the 5000 series 9although this may be awkward as the Hybrids are already numbered in the 5000s) or will they jump to another series?

I would imagine the reason the hybrids are 54xx is to allow the 49xx to carry on up, otherwise the hybrids would have started 5001

The make-up of NXWM's fleet is shifting in favour of double deckers and getting ever closer to 1000 (925 at present, 942 once the remaining 17 x E400's enter service at PB), that will equate to close on two thirds of the fleet
