As well as Simon answering question on his 'ask NX OD' I have received an email from David Bradford, Commercial Director making this offer

We'd also like to extend an offer to any of your forum regulars who want to have a tour of a depot and/or AVL that they'd be more than welcome. We can set up a couple of times and dates if there is any interest.

Is there any interest?

Tony,

Is there any news on the offer from David Bradford about setting up any depot visits?

Yes he is working on it.

I have suggested Walsall during October half term as the first one so people can see the paintshop and training school as well.

Thanks Tony, sounds good to me

This is in hand and will be organised for members of this forum to do a tour of Walsall

Over the weekend can I have best dates for everyone during half term at the end of October so I can tell the person organising it when will be best. I appreciate different days will be better for different people, but largest consensus will win.

Monday to Friday is better than weekend as the paintshop and training school are closed on weekends

Tony you want us to tell via the thread or via a PM?

Tony, is half term the very last week in October?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Via the thread is better so people can see when others are suggesting. It's no good me getting 25 people who want to go with 5 on each day.

Hopefully once someone suggests a day others can agree to it

Yes, round here in Staffs it is week commencing 28/10. I hope it is the same where the school children who wish to visit Walsall attend

That is the same for Dudley school half terms

I can do any day that week w/c 28th

My only proviso is if it has to be on a Thursday, can it start after 10.30am or finish before 3pm as I have to take & collect my little boy from nursery on that day

Could I ask that it's not a Thursday as I'm busy that day, any other day is great

Martin

I would love to go back to the Walsall garage Tony as that is where I did my work experience in 2004. And any day that week would be great. :D

I don't get half term anymore :( Won't get my timetable for a couple of weeks yet so no idea what my day off will be! Maybe Friday if last year is anything to go by.

Tuesdays and Fridays are usually the best for me, although I will always try and free up any other day(s) chosen

Actually just checked and the timetable is already up (may change though)! Looks like Tuesday is my day off unless anything appears there in the next couple of weeks.

Thursdays and Fridays are my days off work so that's when I'm free (in between balancing University work too!)
