I was in that so called 'queue'. Didn't bother with the scrum to get on and luckily the bus that came in out of service right behind it left as a 95E a couple of minutes later.

Not been on a bus in ages, hate the thought you have to fight to get on now

The 94/95 stop at around 4pm is the worst kind of nightmare.

7023 on a equally dangerously overcrowded 15:52 95 to Chelmsley Wood this afternoon. Was very overcrowded as far as Ward End stops. When it arrived on the BS13 stand there was a very large crowd there, which is typical during the rush hour.
Is there not somewhere else more suited to these smaller vehicles?

The thing is though, between the 94 and 95, they should run from city centre every five minutes or so?

Granted, traffic problems can cause delays, so waiting crowds can build up.

It's always your own choice to try and join the scrum and pile on to the first bus that arrives.

The departures screen will show when the next one is due, given the choice I'd rather wait a few minutes more than try and fight my way on board.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I never see the double deckers that crowded and cramped though in the peaks.
Single deckers on the 94/95 is ridiculous to be honest when the double deckers are normally full. At least on a double decker people go upstairs to, so nowhere near as awful as these.

They should operate every 5 minutes but they don't though, that's the issue. At that time of the day it's not a 5 minute frequency except on the timetable. The other day after 20 minutes one arrived. Another 10 minute wait and another turned up. Another 10 minutes another. Didn't help that 7 buses disappeared from the display without arriving. So you can't always rely on waiting a few minutes.
Other days a 20 minute wait and 5 arrive all together.

So glad I don't have to use those routes anymore

Todays awful allocation was 1907. I got 4941 on the 14 to Treaford Lane and walked up instead, all the 94/95's were rammed paticularly the Scania, this one a bit quieter in comparison.
These have become a daily occurence now sadly, deckers are full in the peaks, these scanias are ridiculous.

Perry Barr must be short of double deckers I guess.

Saw 1863 on Bromford Lane displaying 28E Old Oscott Dyas Road. Went straight ahead from Stechford Lane at Fox and Goose at about 20.50. No passengers on it. Normally see these scanias going that way to/from garage on Bromford Lane, but not displaying a service number.

Tracking for that one on bus times looks strange to, wonder why it went that way?
