Looking at Tony's photos of the BX54 batch, the ones new to PB transferred to AG in around July 2005

There was an 11S ran by PB I'm sure.

Yes I'm sure I remember that got on it a few times in Stechford. I am sure one terminus was The Fox And Goose?
Dose anyone know what the other one was?

4810 is on an all day Sutton board, secretly hoping it's my second bus

No such luck, its about 10 minutes in front of mine!

4246 made an appearance on the 101 today. Waiting 15+ minutes for a Handsworth-bound one on Hingeston Street. Two buses came in the other direction. 4804 finally arrived, though (as expected), was full to the brim with passengers. Needless to say, I didn't get on. Got on 4246, instead. Already miss the B7TLs on here, and the 16!

Why aren't 7019 - 7033 renumbered 1954 - 1968?

I don't want to sound rude, but that's like saying "Why aren't the 468* Geminis renumbered to the 7000s." - Good question. Probably obvious answer - less hassle?

In other news, 4779 just passed me on Colmore Row. Not in Service.

At one time, buses were renumbered when transferring north to south and vice versa, but then it was decided that fleet numbers would stay the same. That's why some of the shorter optare  excels were 4** and some were 7***

You could have had that batch of NX Dundee Gemini's 7001-18 renumbered to fill that gap in the WM main fleet, as 4782-99 [granted numbers 4798/99 have been used since] but I suppose there was/is no point in doing it then/now.
