Sounds a useful feature on those 61 reg ones, although very strange how the later ones don't have it working  ???

Yeah its most likely to save money, the strange thing is the button is still there on the newer ones

Liberator9

Yeah probably is - very strange how the button is just sitting there dead then  :)

My favourite mk2 enviro's are 4863,4867,4880,4882

Its interesting that on the 61 plate's the driver can switch the cctv monitor in the cab to the left or right hand side which is useful for tight gaps but on the new ones the button is dead and wont work!

The MMCs, both 200 & 400 have that feature too. Can't see when you'd ever use it though to be honest.

I've always wondered what that button did. On our 49**s, you have to hold the switch down in the direction you want or the screen goes back to the upper deck camera

Yes, ours does it too which is a bit of a shame but on 4880-4 the button is completely dead!

Crimson Pb 4812 is about to leave brum on the 952.

I may be wrong, but deckers aren't unusual on the 952 on Sundays, are they? Unless the noteworthy part of this post was that it was a Crimson Decker - but then again, the 952 are allocated the Crimson Scanias?

952 is an Enviro400 on a Sunday, but usually a 49**.

A few have been on the 66A but they can usually bee found on the 28 and 952. I wander if they will do the 70** Scania Omnilinks aswell. I expect they will become a bit more common on the other services when they are all done.

The Omnicity's were done last year so I suspect it will be a while before those are done again. The Scania Omnilinks at PB have never had a refurb and the 70** Omnilinks have not been reprinted before either. The current seats on these are very warn. So I am not surprised these were done before the Omnicity's .
