Interestingly, someone mentioned a week or so ago, that they had seen WN Tridents travelling empty from City, well today i saw two WN Tridents travelling into City (NIS) at lunchtime. Missed one fleet number, but the other was 4555.

I was on 4587 at the time, which desperately needs a paint / refurb, was rattling and shaking like a good one.

4555 was on the 256/257 this morning but was replaced by a Merc at 1230 at Wolverhampton Bus Station.

well it passed me at Bearwood going into City at 1315 (approx), and it was being driven by a driver, not a mechanic???

Quite possible Matt. To be honest, i was quite surprised at the number of 126s about, there seemed more about than 9s  :) :)

Probably find a Trident broke down on the 126 and only a Merc was spare, so rather than put the Merc on the 126, they swapped 4555 from the 256/7 to the 126 and put the Merc on the 256/7

If im right, the Merc they put on was 1670, it came into the bus station around that time, it came onto stand A with 751 on the front and side then went into service

Just to add, 638 has had its gearbox problems fixed, still a scrapheap that can barely move.

Also 4567 is having gearbox issues, it also recieved attention this morning for a water leak but was soon back on the road and stayed out until end of service on 11/32/33

I have also noticed the rear Dot Matrix display still hasn't been fixed on 4567

Yes it was indeed 1670, I narrowly missed catching it in Stourbridge thanks to delays caused by school traffic >:(

Gained NX logos at the same time as the other Mercs were done John :)

Never said it hadn't. Just the first time I have seen it, and remarking that it looks smart with them  ;)

Oh Ok :) Just saying just incase you weren't aware ;) The TWM logos were fading on 1672 so i agree with you that it looks smart with NX logos

Thanks anyway Nathan. It was the one Wolves O405N I really wanted to see today as I knew it would have the NXWM logos, and my luck was in for a change  :)

The only other one is 4001, but the next time I an in Wolverhampton, but this will not be until I get my usual camera back from been repaired.

Seems to be on the 59 most of the time and is one that regually turns up when i catch the 59 so will be on the lookout for you John :)


However haven't seen it much over the past week apart from once on the 59 last week but their tends to be more tridents on the 59 over Spectras
