Do the AM peak 126s go out of service in Birmingham? There were a few Tridents heading back up the Hagley Road not in service the other day, would have thought it would make sense to do another trip back to Wolverhampton? I think this would have been about 9 to quarter past.

They were probably late running 126s which went out of service and travelled back to Wolverhampton to start the next service from there. That happens sometimes

More than likely, never seen the 126 do it, but there are 2 or 3 9s that run back empty from City to PE!

I've seen it happen a few times. The 126 is that unreliable sometimes that it doesn't really surprise me

Never seen any hagley rd services run out of service from town, seen them heading to town. How long does it take a 126 to get to WN running dead from Birmingham

Over an hour atleast. Even today there were 2 126's (4576 and 4540) running in a row even with a 20 minute frequency!

Some 126 journies run dead from Park Lane to Dudley then to do a trip from Dudley back to Wolverhampton

wilmotm (Matt Wilmot)

Well the 126 has been so badly effected by the New Dudley Road closure at the moment, all it takes is for an 87 to be waiting to turn right across the traffic to rejoin its normal route and the tailbacks become immense down to Birchley Island as the dual carriageway cuts down to one lane as the whole right hand lane is full of cars, lorries and Gemini's! Waiting to turn right, the sooner that road is re-opened the better as it is causing chaos, right round the Island, and routes 87 then indirectly 82, 126 and the 4 are all in trouble, the other day there were 3 Omnilinks all heading the same way trying to get across to Blackheath

Just checked the timetable, and there don't appear to be any journeys into Birmingham on the 126 which don't have a corresponding journey back to Wolverhampton, were they definately WN ones?

45** and 460* so I assume so

Have any B6LEs made it onto the 81, as I have never seen any on there nor heard any workings off anyone else.

Plenty John, it's by no means a daily thing but one does appear every so often. I remember seeing 600 on there not so long back.

You do get more B7RLEs on there than B6LEs though, 2066 (I think) was on there today.

The 59 Morning Peak board is now 59/09 (Used to be 59/11). This was operated by 2011 today

Are the same journeys on there?

Interestingly, someone mentioned a week or so ago, that they had seen WN Tridents travelling empty from City, well today i saw two WN Tridents travelling into City (NIS) at lunchtime. Missed one fleet number, but the other was 4555.

I was on 4587 at the time, which desperately needs a paint / refurb, was rattling and shaking like a good one.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

4555 was on the 256/257 this morning but was replaced by a Merc at 1230 at Wolverhampton Bus Station.

well it passed me at Bearwood going into City at 1315 (approx), and it was being driven by a driver, not a mechanic???

Probably find a Trident broke down on the 126 and only a Merc was spare, so rather than put the Merc on the 126, they swapped 4555 from the 256/7 to the 126 and put the Merc on the 256/7
