4177 aka Julie broken down in theHarborne high street

What time was this? I was in Harborne around 12pm

Assume it was on the 24?

Yes Matt, 1145 on the 24 into Town.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Seen 804 today, you'll never guess which route it was on Nathan ;)

Tony

I passed 4177 in service on my first trip so not too much wrong with it

Weird, passed in Harbourne High St at 11:45 & had no passengers on and driver had bonnet door open?

Maybe needed a drink????

The bus or driver? ;D

Have to say, I used the 98 twice yesterday and both times it was heaving. Moreso on the journey I took towards Northfield than the one back, but I didn't realise it was that well used. Which has made me reevaluate my opinion on putting doubles on there. Maybe a few in the morning and rush hour peaks would be very welcome, as by the time we got to the QE yesterday there was no room for any more passengers! :P

I rode the 24 for the 8th time today and STILL have never got a Trident on it :') I've had 4 B7RLE's, 2 E400H's, an Enviro400 and a B5.

Forgot to mention, but 4153 was involved in an accident a couple of weeks back where a car pulled out and hit the front n/s of the bus.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
