Have national express logos been taken off the front panel of some buses ? Noticed it a few times now.

None have been taken off,  but a couple of buses have not had one put back on after repairs

I'm guessing there's an issue with the trains as the X21 and X22 are getting absolutely battered. Just seen an X22 just leave passengers at Uni North Gate and an X21 arrive at Uni Station towards City already full with a massive queue waiting not long after that. Not seen that many people at the Uni Station stop in quite some time.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

How would you know anyone had covid on the bus... Do you feel covid infestation in night clubs, Christmas market, Birmingham city centre, uni classes or any other places that have crowds? If you are double jabbed you are less likely to suffer serious illness. Yes the cases are high but hospitalisations and deaths are low.

6846 and 6847 were on the 74 earlier this evening as extras due to the football. They both operated one journey to West Bromwich Bus Station and one journey back to Birmingham.

Would love to know what time 6886 left Priory Queensway on the 22:10 service. I could see the stop from 22:06 and have been here since and there's been nothing here so how the hell is bustimes showing its already on its way down Bath Row.

Absolute shambles.

Edit: Also the 22:25 X22 non-existent.

To be honest, I doubt even the 22:10 bus showed up as the 22:40 bus ended up leaving New St pretty full.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

It left at 22:08, yes it left early and it shouldn't have done, but if you were watching from 22:06 you would have seen it arrive at 22:06 and sit there for 2 minutes

I was on the 74 going round the island at 22:06 and I could see the stop from there, there were no buses there and the app also said 3 mins. Its not possible to have missed it in the time it took to get off the 74 and over to the stop as the X21 has to go around that island too.

BusTimes says it left the Old Square stop on Priory Queensway at 22:06, so you must have just missed it.

Tony's right, it is poor that it left four mins early, but looking at other journeys, both the X21 and X22 were being adjusted, presumably due to poor road conditions in south-west Birmingham.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

That sounds more believable, and yeah perhaps I did just miss seeing it. I can put up with late running buses as things happen, but there's no excuse for leaving early in my opinion, certainly not by that much. Especially at that time of night when there's a bigger gap between services.

Anyone know what's happening with 4633, use to love driving that bus just because it sounds beautiful, not seen it on the road or even garage

It is in the garage and will be back on the road soon. It has just had a replacement engine fitted

4474 hasn't been out since April, is this one ever going to return, especially with it being a Euro 6'd one?

It also needs a replacement engine, but is at the back of the queue for labour
