Nope, It's just what the booked type on the boards now. It's presumably implementing the same practice other depots have used for a few years now, use newer double deckers where possible on Sundays in place of older double deckers.

Although it probably explains why several E400's have started appearing on both the 14 & 97 during the week in recent times.
nxwm might be looking at using 45/47 cascades on these routes if they get the YW 6 platinums
Local Routes
NXWM - 11A, 11C, 94, 95, 28, 14, X12, X13
Diamond - 25, 93, 94

4948 was at Ward End on the 70 this morning, presumably this goes onto the X70 outside of school term time? Does it go onto the 14 during school term time as its normally a Trident?
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Jack

@SO6597, again it's usual to see a B7RLE on 61/63, that's where one is allocated a day...

yes as I'm pretty sure in the holidays it only runs for hams hall and then does a trip on X70 and goes to garage

Must run because there is demand for it to run. There were quite a few people onboard.
I caught it to Coleshill Parkway and a few people getting off and on in the Water Orton area as well, as a few getting off at Gorsey Lane and at Coleshill Parkway.

94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Is there no demand for some form of return journey though?
As surely the workers have to come back in the evening as well? Just seems strange that in School Holidays they run it in one direction but not the other?

25 Quinton to Five Ways via Augustus Road from 15th March 2020.
Looks like the 10H (City Centre to QE via Ladywood) might finally be gone soon.
Not surprising as usage was very low.

Presumably this new 25 service will replace the 10H in the Ladywood area on its way to Five Ways and serve Momentum Road then?

This service won't last long either.

If the registration says via Augustus Road then surely it's replacing the 10 more than the 10H ?

10H has been removed from the list of services on the registration, which are usually listed between the brackets such as on the Sutton registration 902 (X4, X5, X3).
Now says (10, 10S, 25), when the 10H was listed there previously.

So that suggests the 10H might be going? And it would make sense as usage is very low on this service.

It would've long gone if it didn't... This route looks like aimed at replacing peak route 10 to attract passengers and avoiding traffic.

What were the reasons for the removal of the 8A/8C from Monument Road in Ladywood, which served it before the 10H did @Tony?

Also what does Hail and Ride mean? You can just call it from anywhere along the route?
Along certain sections of the route.
Think Claribel 168 has hail and ride sections in the Sutton area, where there are no bus stops present.

Yeah, I'd say so. Still would've liked to have seen it go to Shenley Fields though.

If this is replacing the 10 will WB have it? As the 10 currently interworks with the 10S/54/54A does it not?

the afternoon journey starts from Park Hall Academy so it's just for the school children but a duplicate X70 runs with the one that's due at park hall academy at 2:45 just comes a bit later
