I don't see any connection between this and the 61 route.

If what you yourself are suggesting is reintroducing the 22, Well reverting X22 back to 22 for a start seems to be a massive change that would impact various routes - X20/X21/X22, 23, 24, 27, leave Quintion Rd with no service, etc. The 61 change seems to only be a minor route change.
Not suggesting that, just thought I should bring it up since the 61 change came up here.

I wouldn't expect that just because the she's complaigned it automatically means, that the service will change
Of course it won't, I'm just saying that it hasn't had a follow up yet.

It also mentioned more than that. Such as Woodgate lane having no service at all.
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

There are some valid points in that letter, a number of which were cited on here at the time the changes were announced (e.g. most of Adams Hill having no service, hourly evening service for parts of Bartley Green including Jiggins Lane and Kitwell, poorer service for KE Five Ways school kids).

The point about the 822 is fair. I see it most mornings and it's often rammed. It's been operated by 4877 most days this week and it drove past the War Lane / Fellows Lane stop full the other day leaving 6 or 7 schoolkids behind. A lot of kids travel from Harborne to KE Five Ways and the 23 isn't as convenient. It doesn't serve the school - the nearest it goes is Romsley Road - and takes a very long winded route to get there.

I presume the 822 replaced the 23A and the 22S. When I was walking up Adams hill in the morning after getting off the 23, there was the 822 coming down in a Volvo B7RLE and the bus was literally packed with kids. They didn't look very comfortable. Most of the King Edwards Kids get off at Bret Drive now. Most mornings though the 23 is full up with them which makes the service turn up late enough to have another close behind it.

Good point, Brett Drive is closer than Romsley Road.

08:21 X2 for Solihull Station from the Swan was a no show this morning and it seems it never operated, it was showing the timetabled time so the bus wan't tracking, and at the scheduled depature time it disappeared of the departure screen?
Does anyone know what happened to it?

No idea why, but when it got to city off the X1 at 07:54 it had to return to garage, same bus (6838) came out again after a short time and ran dead to the Wheatsheaf to restart service.

Possibly need cleaning?

On school days it runs private to the Swan and operates an X2 into Solihull, weekdays during school holidays it runs private from the Airport/NEC back to depot.
