07:59 X2 from Yardley, Swan to Solihull drove straight past the stop at the Swan due to the bus being full to capacity.
Not good on a route at that frequency in my opinion, meaning anybody waiting has a 22 minute wait for the next bus.
That trip from Birmingham should be duplicated in my opinion.

Could it be that the bus before the one that drive past had broken down, had been in a accident, the allocated driver had gone sick or was cancelled for some other reason.

If it is full every day then perhaps a duplicate is justified, but not if it is a one off occurrence however annoying it is for a bus to drive past without stopping.

Its full everyday, (didn't look to much different  compared to how it usually does to me) - it usually also drives past all the stops along Old Lode Lane due to it being full.
Though at least it usually stops at the Swan and Old Lode Lane have the 73.

It's just the same as the other generic branded Platinums. Here's a picture of 6836 which was done at the same time as 6855 and is no different:

2138 on X21?
Not unusual. Thats the usual allocation and the only route at BC that the single decker B7RLE are used on (see @Stu's spreadsheet).

4871 made a rare appearance in Solihull Town Centre earlier today, it was unusually parked up on the 4 stop (Towards Acocks Green/Birmingham) at 09:00, does anyone know if it was on the X2 at some point today?

I'm currently on 6853 at the Wheatsheaf on the X2 to Birmingham which is wrongly still displaying X2.

6847 is unusually turning right of the Coventry Road onto Lyndon Road out of service as well.

Probably replacing the single decker (213x?) which was out this morning in Coventry last night/this morning at 5AM.

1913 just did one trip between Meriden and Coventry because of road works. It was not on an X1 board

MasterPlan

I have to say there was something quite nostalgic about waiting for a bus on Colemore Row again, only one stop over from where the 'Harbornes' used to be too. That diversion to Five Ways seems a bit convoluted though, I can imagine it'd take long to navigate in peak times?
