Probably a controversial opinion here but I think the branding looks better with the halo and the back done. Just looks half-arsed like this.

Vinyl vandals about to strike again then. Back to travelling in a claustrophobic box! Will NXWM never learn that passengers like to have bright interiors and unobstructed views when using public transport? Perhaps this is something else TfWM should have a look at.

6885, 6887 and 6886.
As they're towards the end of the 2017 batch I wander if they're being branded for the Harbornes or if the X20/X22 is going to get branded? Would these be for the X20/X22?
Not sure what the PVR's are but would 30 buses be needed for the Harbornes (6858 - 6887)?

Well 6885 never got done. It's on the 22 this afternoon and whilst it has the black window surrounds, it's not branded.

Edit - on the 23, not the 22 which is sadly no more.

To be fair it's not just NXWM - lots of branding - Transdev, Go North East and plenty of other recent examples have one or both rear windows covered. I've no objection to branding at all, I just don't see why thy can't have branding / route promotion on the rear without completely obscuring the windows. The latest Harborne / QE brandings are a bit simpler than some of the others so fingers crossed the rear windows are left alone (but I'm not holding my breath).

I wonder what will happen to 6835-40, I would have thought they would have been the X20 branded buses but as they are all getting the same branding obviously not. Maybe the rest of the 688x and 689x as well as the 683x will be done

I'm wondering whether 6835-40 might receive generic branding as spares for all the BC platinum routes. They look a bit of a mess with the X61 branding removed and the plainer Harborne and QE brandings, which look like they'll be applied to most of the 67 plates, wouldn't cover the marks left by the old X61 vinyls.

Yes they probably will. I agree, they do look a mess having been debranded, generic platinum branding should cover it up nicely

From what I've seen and what's been posted so far, 6858-6879 are Harborne 23/24 branded (6872 had been missed, not sure if that's done now) and it's been reported that several between and including 6880 and 6889 are QE X20/X21/X22 branded.

There are 2 B7RLEs on there. One on the 61 and one on the 63. They don't interwork

How come the 61/63 doesn't interwork this time around? Is the case with others too? Do the 23/24 interwork?
