New style destination displays on BC Platinums from today with much larger final destinations, and no scrolling 'via' points - 23/24 show 'via Harborne' only.

Nice to see the return of 'Rednal' on the X20.

I'm not a fan of that personally, I much prefer the scrolling displays. With routes like the 63 I can understand it but generally I think showing multiple via points is better.

Also I'd have thought the X20 would say Cofton Hackett.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

I remember when the 45 was extended to Cofton Hackett briefly, the Tridents also displayed 'Rednal' instead of 'Cofton Hackett', not entirely sure why

I can't remember where the 45 finished but the X20 does continue past the old 47 Cofton Hackett terminus and terminates at Rednal Island / Lickey Road.

Same with the 4. Referring to the Dot Matrix displays. The final destination bolder and bigger than normal. Looks a lot better. Haven't paid attention to the LED version.

The driver I had on the X20 yesterday seemed pretty unsure of where he was going, passengers had to help him out, the temporary bus stops on the route caught him by surprise

Shock horror.

...obviously a response to all of the questioning of Platinums being on there yesterday, completely uncalled for

I see, apologies. Lack of context makes things hard to read

6858 - 6878 now 23/24 Harborne branded, so up to 21 vehicles at least.

6872 has been missed, but yes It'll be down to be done I would have thought.

Does the X21 inter-work with any other routes at any point? I noticed 2141 on the X20 earlier, but I haven't posted it in "Noteworthy Workings" as I'm not sure if it was an X21 board.

No, can't see any interworking with X20 and X21
