Does the X21 inter-work with any other routes at any point? I noticed 2141 on the X20 earlier, but I haven't posted it in "Noteworthy Workings" as I'm not sure if it was an X21 board.

It did an evening peak board that just does one trip on the X20 (nothing else)

I can't remember where the 45 finished but the X20 does continue past the old 47 Cofton Hackett terminus and terminates at Rednal Island / Lickey Road.

It was the same with the 22, 23 and X64 terminus.  The 23 and X64 displayed Woodgate, but the 22 always displayed Kitwell.

When in actual fact it was neither of those - the Wood Lane / Field Lane terminus is in Bartley Green. The 22 continued to show Kitwell to avoid confusion with the 23 (which confusingly never terminated in Woodgate either if that makes sense).

6858 - 6878 now 23/24 Harborne branded, so up to 21 vehicles at least.

Up to 6879 now done, 22 buses assuming 6872 gets branded. Apart from the 11, I believe that's currently the most buses branded for the same route / corridor.

3 more Platinum's are being branded today:

6885, 6887 and 6886.
As they're towards the end of the 2017 batch I wander if they're being branded for the Harbornes or if the X20/X22 is going to get branded? Would these be for the X20/X22?
Not sure what the PVR's are but would 30 buses be needed for the Harbornes (6858 - 6887)?

I'd suspect these are for the X20/X22. Can't see many more being done for the 23/24 - 22 done as it is, don't think the PVR can be more than late 20s.

I like the turquoise line instead of red separating the upper deck dark grey from the lighter grey.

I wonder what will happen to 6835-40, I would have thought they would have been the X20 branded buses but as they are all getting the same branding obviously not. Maybe the rest of the 688x and 689x as well as the 683x will be done

X20 and X22 interwork evenings and Sundays so there was always going to be a need for common branding on these. Slightly surprised they've included the X21 on there given that it's not a Platinum route most of the week, and once the Bath Row bus Gate is in place, sounds like it might not be much of a 'fast' route in either direction other than missing the odd stop on Bath Row.

Mobile Signs Ltd must love all these bus reviews - they'll have all the 126 buses to re-do in a few weeks' time.

Surprising they've put next stop announcements on them for the X21 and included the X21 in the branding, as its not a platinum route and they're only being used on there on Sundays.
Or will the platinums be gaining next stops announcements for the 60 as well, given they are on there everyday?

Perhaps they intend to get some more platinums from elsewhere at some point (eg - if any where left spare after the Dudley Service Changes in September or if any new platinums arrive at some point later in the year) and put them on the X21?

Well hopefully it'll miss out a few stops on Wheeleys Road, as quite frankly you don't get many people getting on and off around there anyway, and most if not all of Bath Row (Maybe the one opposite the current outbound stop) as the 80/A is every 10 mins anyway.

Can't understand why it's been included though as like you say it's not a platinum route.

Highly doubt that to be honest.
