Any idea how many the new X61 will need? The 900/957 originally had 18 including spares, surely the X61 won't need 12.

Highest numbered weekday running board is X61/09. So 12 sounds too much. I wonder if the new 24h 900 has anything to do with the extra buses?

9 boards + 1 extra spare (circa 11% spares) accounts for 10 of the 12 extra. Possibly is the 900 then.

Kevin

900 shorts being extended to Business Park M-F daytime so probably accounts for at least one extra
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

What time does the first X1 run on Sunday as 00:05 journey from Brum is shown as last departure on Saturday timetable.
I presume buses don't go out as 900s and come back as X1s!
Timetable shows Sunday service to Solihull is reduced to every 30 minutes with four buses an hour to Airport, giving 10 minute service from Yardley in daytime.

JPC

The first journey in both directions on service X1, at the start of Sunday timetable, is 01:05 B'ham to BHX and 01:34 BHX to B'ham.
In theory it may utilise the bus used on the inbound 900E arriving B'ham at 01:04.
The 01:05 outbound X1 should meet/pass the last inbound 900 (00:20 from Cov) on Small Heath Highway at approx 01:15 :D

No, stops at Moor St (where the 16, x64, 98, 99 stops) to unload, then to Millenium Point and then loops back by hotel la tour.
