If it's there for evaluation purposes I would assume it's to look at the newer Euro 6 version compared with the Euro 5 versions they currently have.

Scrub that comment I've just seen the picture - I don't even think that's a Euro 6 version.

Just a thought, but do they choose the fact that all their advertising on Birmingham Central buses will be permanently confined to the Pershore Road corridor?

Seems strange to put it on route branded vehicles, but I guess some of these carry the orang-utan adverts, and the Turkish airline adverts before that.
